The Chardin Collective hosts a number of pieces contributed by our members from public, professional or refereed sources that focus on specific topics within creation-evolution dialogue. Our current work is displayed, along with previews of upcoming or ongoing research. Suggestions and requests to contribute are welcome through our contact page or the comments.
For 2025, our two primary research projects include:
- Developing a suite of simplified assessments related to creation-evolution topics for use by educators and religious leaders to gauge an individuals’ level of familiarity with/awareness of creation-evolution topics, designed to be useful to both pro-and-anti-evolutionary groups. They are published as they are completed, and are completely free to view, download and use, and can be accessed here.
- Updated research regarding renewed interest in the allegedly anomalistic paleontology of the Paluxy River in some young-Earth creationist circles, aiming to address new issues and tie up numerous loose ends left over from the last few decades. At the time of writing, we have responded to claims made by the Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation regarding a claimed out-of-place Carboniferous fossil in the river, created a comprehensive bibliography of research on the Paluxy River anomalies, and compiled an in-depth review of the various “paleo-anomalies” claimed to have come from the river.
These initiatives are more specific in scope and distinct from our ongoing projects that look at broader subjects within creation/evolution dialogue.
